Senior Project

For my senior project I played my clarinet at the art show. I practiced every day once I figured out what songs I was going to play. I played Waltz of the Flowers, Swan Lake, Edelweiss, and The Sound of Music.  I was scared at first, but once I did it I was fine.

Playing in the Yard with Laddie

I love playing in the yard with Laddie. He loves to run as fast as he can. He is very quick and agile. Yesterday when I was playing in the yard with Laddie, a big strange dog came in our yard. Laddie was very upset and he barked at the dog and tried to chase it out of the yard. The big dog ignored him and seemed to be trying to make him angry. Eventually the big dog got angry with Laddie and started growling at him and attacked him. The big dog tried to pin Laddie down with his paw, but Laddie managed to get away. I  opened the door to the house and Laddie ran inside and the big dog left. I hope the big dog does not come around again. It was scary.

Laddie Cocoa

This is the family dog, Laddie Cocoa, the day we first got him. He was only two months old. We got him on October 31st, 2008. My mom had gone on the computer a week earlier to see what dogs were for sale. That's when she found information about Laddie and his sister. We had to get Dad's permission before we could get a dog, so he was sent an e-mail. When we got the reply we found out that he had said that we could. When we arrived to look at the puppies Laddie wanted lots of attention. We tried to pet his sister but she just backed away from us. We finally chose Laddie as the family dog. I am so glad that we got him.
